Channa Gunawardana

Channa Gunawardana, serving as the CEO of a public listed company in Sri Lanka, is a fellow member of CIMA UK and CA Sri Lanka. He is possessing a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Financial Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Furthermore, he is currently reading for his PhD at the Management and Science University, Malaysia. With 21 years of lecturing experience, he has been known as the CIMA case study specialist as he has produced over 95% of the CIMA Sri Lankan prize winners including global prize winners during last decade. Currently he is a member of CIMA Global Council as well.

We are pleased to introduce Praveen Aloka Seneviratne, a distinguished lecturer at our institute. Praveen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, holding a BSc Hons in Engineering Physics and credentials as a passed finalist in CIMA and a DipM. His diverse academic background and professional expertise make him a valuable asset to our team. Praveen's dedication to education and his ability to convey complex concepts with clarity will undoubtedly inspire and empower our students to become the leaders of tomorrow. He's the E3 lecturer at Nanaska.

Indika Rajakaruna

CISA - ISCA(USA), AIB(IBSL), PG EX.DIP IN BANK MGT(IBSL), EXECUTIVE MSC IN MARKETING

Indika Rajakaruna is a banker by profession in the Governance, Risk and Control field who counts over 25 years of exposure in the banking industry, currently leads a team of audit professionals in a listed bank which was awarded both titles of Best bank and Best Digital Bank in Sri Lanka. He is the First and Only Accredited Trainer in Sri Lanka for the CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) which is considered as the Golden Qualification in IS Auditing by ISACA - USA and serves as the Director for Corporate Relations of ISACA-Sri Lanka Chapter. He is responsible of Cyber risk area in the subject of P3.

Ruchira Perera

Mr. Ruchira Perera is a graduate of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a first class in Accountancy and Financial Management. He also holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management affiliated to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is a professionally qualified Accountant with CPA (Australia), CIMA (UK) and CMA (SL) Qualifications. He has been in the industry for nearly 2 decades holding senior management positions such as Chief Financial Officer / Financial Controller for local and foreign organizations. He has been lecturing for various undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in the government and private universities. He also lectures for professional accounting programs such as CIMA (UK), CA (SL) and CMA (SL). Mr. Perera is a governing council member of CMA Sri Lanka and a technical advisor to the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA). Currently he is reading for his Doctorate at the Lincoln University College in Malaysia. He is the F3 Lecturer at Nanaska.

Mark Gunathilake, is a Passed Finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He also holds a 1st Class Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Having started off his career at one of the big 4 audit firms, currently he is employed at a leading conglomerate with over 3 years of experience in the business sectors of Manufacturing, Transportation and Retail. He is the P2, OCS and BA2 lecturer at Nanaska.

Lasantha Vidanagamage to our distinguished faculty. Lasantha is a CIMA pass finalist and holds both a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He will be teaching the P2 subject, Advanced Management Accounting. Lasantha's diverse academic background and extensive expertise in management accounting will provide our students with a comprehensive and practical learning experience. As an Affiliate CIPM, Janith brings a unique blend of legal expertise and HR management proficiency, making him a well-rounded professional in his field.
